Caribbean Packaging Industries holds marketing seminar

The seminar was held at CPI's factory at Mount Hope, Trinidad & Tobago and nine participants from Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados, St. Kitts, Curacao, Grenada and St. Lucia attended at the factory for the sessions in company and market overviews, growth plans, order processing and delivery and sales strategies, inter alia. Brian Look Hong, commercial manager, CPI, and marketing assistant Petle Claverie, co-ordinated the programme and were the principal speakers. Claverie said the occasion also had a "getting-to-know-you" quality, being the first of its kind and also gave them hands on experience in a wide range of manufactures colour-printed bags with handles with individualised designs for restaurants, shoppers and fast foods as well as grocery and paper bags and corrugated boxes. A tour of the extensive factory was part of the itinerary.
