Looking quite tropical in this floor-length piece, Karlene Bailey lounges at the event.

In recognition of its fifth anniversary, De GAP celebrated in style at its new store location at the Hilton Kingston Jamaica Hotel. In a two-fold affair, De GAP introduced guests to its store (having relocated from Sovereign Centre), and its Christmas collection. Some were unable to avoid the temptation of buying and left with at least one item.

Operated by Ruth Straw, De GAP, which means God Answers Prayers, caters to women and features high-end clothing from local and international designers. It carries selections suited for various occasions in a range of sizes extending to plus sizes and also features beach wear, footwear, handbags and accessories,

The celebration included the cutting of a cake followed by prayer. Guests were then shown a sample of some of the store's Christmas collection courtesy of models. They also enjoyed beverages and finger foods which were served throughout the evening.
