Majesty looking to close out series

Majesty Gardens will be seeking to capture their first lien on the National Basketball Association (NBL)/Flow Southern Conference trophy, when they oppose Tivoli Gardens Wizards tonight in game two of the best-of-three finals at the National Stadium Courts, starting at 7 p.m.
Majesty lead the series 1-0 following their 64-59 victory over the Wizards in game one on Thursday night at the same venue.
Marland Nattie, coach of Majesty Gardens, which was knocked out at the semi-final stage last year, is very optimistic that his team is going to close out the series tonight. However, they are expecting an exciting game from the Wizards.
Not overly confident
"We are confident but not overly confident because Tivoli is a good all-round team with a lot of depth and we are anticipating a very tough game from them," said Nattie, who is a former president of the Jamaica Basketball Association.
He added that his team must also keep its focus and concentration for the entire game, to ensure that they capitalise on their opponents' mistakes.
"We, however, have to do a lot better rebounding at the defensive end tomorrow because the Tivoli team will be coming all out at us," Nattie added.
Majesty's captain Baldon Todd, who scored a game-high 24 points in his team's game-one win, along with Kemar McLeish, who contributed 21 points in the same game, are both expected to do the bulk of the scoring for the Kingston 11-based team.
Meanwhile, Edward 'Ted' Marshall, coach of the Wizards team, will be relying heavily on guard Anthony Farguharson, who topscored for their team in game one with 21 points, along with Kirk Ferguson, Omar Barnes and André Whilby.
