The doors were slammed shut on the two Xtras stores in the Mall Plaza, St Andrew, yesterday as people reacted to the fatal shooting of their manager, Sandra Supersad, on Wednesday evening.

By mid-morning yesterday, curious passers-by, workers in the plaza and frequent shoppers were stopping to peep into the clothing and accessories stores which were closed.

None of the onlookers was willing to talk with The Gleaner, but police investigators claimed they had quickly identified two suspects.

According to the Major Investigation Task Force and the St Andrew Central police, the two persons of interest are known only by their aliases, 'Busta Juice' and 'Roadman'.

The police say 'Busta Juice' is of dark complexion, medium build and approximately five feet nine inches tall.

'Busta Juice' and 'Roadman' are believed to frequent the Grants Pen and Barbican areas of St Andrew.

Shot at her gate

Supersad was fatally shot shortly after 8:00 Wednesday evening as she drove into her apartment complex on Waterloo Avenue in St Andrew.

It is reported that she drove her Suzuki SUV through the electronic gate into the complex when two men rode up on a motorycle.

The pillion rider pulled a gun and fired four shots hitting Supersad in the head, before they sped away on Waterloo Road.

The businesswoman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. No motive has yet been determined for the killing.

Persons knowing the whereabouts of 'Busta Juice' and 'Roadman' are being asked to call the Major Investigation Task Force at 922-5344, Operation Kingfish 811, Crime Stop 311 and Police Control at 119.
