The Jamaica Tourist Board, Rose Hall Developments and Air Jamaica have partnered once again with TurnKey Productions for a seven-day Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay. The announcement was made last week at the event's New York launch where Olympian Usain Bolt endorsed the festival.

The Second City will come alive with soulful sounds and spectacular entertainment from January 24-30.

TurnKey Productions will stage different shows at several Montego Bay venues, culminating in a three-night musical expose at the Aqueduct at Rose Hall from January 28-30. The organisers did not name any of the artistes booked for the festival.

An enhanced experience

Walter Elmore of TurnKey Productions said: "Jamaica Jazz and Blues is in its 14th year and we intend to celebrate this growth with great performances from some very talented stars of yesteryear and now. Patrons can expect an enhanced festival experience they can enjoy with family and friends."

Artistes such as Alicia Keys, Kenny Rogers, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Kenny G, Gladys Knight, Al Jarreau, Erykah Badu and Michael Bolton have all had memorable performances on the festival stage.
