St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) ended Balaclava High's seven-game unbeaten run in the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup yesterday afternoon, when they notched a 2-0 win in the big Zone E clash at the Braes River Sports Club in St Elizabeth.

STETHS, which trailed Balaclava by a point going into the game, have now moved to the top of the standings with 16. The Andrew Edwards-coached STETHS were the beneficiary of two penalties, which were both converted by the prolific Deshawn Brown.

"We did not play as well as we should have as we did not knock the ball around as we had planned," said Brown, analysing STETHS' performance. Nonethe-less, we are happy that we came here and got all three points."
