The witness, Petrina Lewis, said the police came to her house some days later and took away the items.
Lennox Swaby and Calvin Powell, both of Manchester, have been on trial since Monday for the double murder.
The Crown is alleging that the men murdered the elderly couple between December 9 and 10, 2006, during the furtherance of a robbery. They were strangled. The bodies were found at the Martin Hill Dump in Manchester.
Lewis told Senior Puisne Judge Marva McIntosh and the 12-member jury yesterday that the accused Swaby was the father of her three-year-old son. She said, about 3 a.m. on December 10, 2006, Swaby and Powell, who she knew as 'Kevin', came to her home. Swaby was driving a silver Toyota Rav4. She said Swaby asked her to keep some appliances and sheet sets and Swaby and Powell removed the items from the motor vehicle.
No money
She said some days later, Swaby and Powell came to her home and asked her to accompany them to an ATM. She went to two ATMs and put in a card and a pin number which Swaby gave her but was not able to get any money.
Lewis said that at one of the machines, Powell put in the pin number and the card. When Powell did not get any money, he said that the "boy ginnal we".
Lewis will continue her testimony today.
