Congratulating the Cresswells

EbulLient city businessman, Robert MacMillan hosted an intimate little post-wedding reception for British High Commissioner Jeremy Cresswell and his wife Dr Barbara Munske Cresswell last Saturday, September 12. That day was exactly three weeks and a day since the wedding in Germany, home of the bride.

MacMillan in his brief remarks said from the day the couple arrived here close to four years ago, 'my spirit tek dem. They are very appealing, outgoing and unpretentious people and I feel very privileged to know them."

For his part, High Commissioner Cresswell said he was very pleased with the many good wishes expressed to his wife and himself. He added that they would continue to live as a normal couple until their departure come the end of the year. "Jamaica will always have a strong place in our hearts.

Among the guests out for the party were Kenny Benjamin, Anthony and Jeannie Watson, Douglas and Angela Saunders, Peter Phillips and wife Sandra, Spanish Ambassador Jesus Silva and wife Sara; Glynne Manley, Mark Shields and Emily Crooks, Col Trevor McMillan and wife Dr Olivia McDonald and Charles Hanna.
