Exemplary JUTA service
Published: Friday | September 4, 2009
IN THE midst of all the bad news and tribulations it is a joy to be able to tell some good news.
I returned to Jamaica a few nights ago and took a JUTA taxi to my home. I thought I had removed all my belongings. Sometime later that night it struck me that I had forgotten a bottle of liquor which I had bought. I had no information about the name or contact information for the taxi and just assumed that I would not see it again.
Pure honesty
To my amazement, the taxi driver found his way back to my home the following morning and said that his wife had seen the box in the vehicle and he concluded that it had to be mine. So, he drove all the way back to my home to deliver it. I only now know his name because he left a card for me.
I congratulate Phillip Linton and JUTA for this exemplary service and will encourage anyone who needs a good, reliable, honest taxi driver to get in touch with him at 358-1847.
I know that I shall be using him for all my future requirements.
I am, etc.,
