Veronica Campbell-Brown's decision not to run in the final of the women's 4x100m relay in Berlin recently has been at the centre of heated debates, with many persons saying she should have run, while others agree with her decision not to.

Kerry-Ann Smith:

I think that it is unfair that she was told only one hour before. I am in support of Veronica.

Milton Lawrence:

She should have run still. No matter what, she should have still run.

Sean Taylor:

It is a personal decision, not that I agree with her but it's her decision.

Matthew Hyman:

"If she had an injury or if she was told late, then she made the right decision. On the other hand, if it's a case where things went according to what Mr (Donald) Quarrie is reported to have said in The Gleaner, then she chickened out."

Michelle Francis:

That was disrespectful, she should have run, I think she backed out because the other girls are faster than her. Mi love her still and she is my girl but she should have run, she bad mind.

Marian Francis:

It was her decision. If she had not practised to run any other leg, then she made the right decision.
