The new Miss Jamaica United States, Diane Johnson (centre), was crowned on Saturday night at the plush oceanside Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle, New York, on Saturday night. Johnson, who wore the sash of Miss St James, is a graduate of the University of Technology; she works for a design firm in New York. Second place was Latiesh Davis, Miss St Andrew (right), and third, Nehesha Chin, Miss St Catherine. Dave Rodney captured the highlights for Something Extra. - Contributed

Fine dining in the bay Friday night saw the pairing of Caymus Conundrum 2007 wine with a number of dishes for the event dubbed Caymus Wine and Dine at the White Witch Restaurant in Montego Bay.
