Class Acts: Half-Way Tree Primary School

Published: Saturday | August 22, 2009

Half-Way Tree Primary celebrated its annual school-leaving exercise in a huge ceremony on the grounds of the school on Tuesday, June 30. The ceremony proved to be one of both tears and laughter as the graduates showcased drama and dance for parents and well-wishers.

Dr Orville Taylor, guest speaker and senior lecturer of sociology, psychology and social work at the University of the West Indies, passed on wise words to the graduates and cracked more than a few jokes to make the event enjoyable.
