THE EDITOR, Sir:
WHY IS Peter Espeut zeroing in on the Church and the economy? He is the only person who can expose the damage that is being done to the beaches in Ocho Rios. During my last visit to Jamaica, I went on a boat from Dunn's River to Couples hotel.
Everybody is doing his or her own thing. For example, building high walls in the sea stretching out to the reef, docking boats on the beach with oil seeping out into the water. It is heart-rending to see what is happening to Ocho Rios' seafront and beaches. Please, Peter, the environment needs you!
