Sixteen students graduated from the prep school division of the St Ann's Bay High and Preparatory school on July 2, under the theme 'The Urgency of NOW'.

The ceremony was held at the St Ann's Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is situated on the school compound. Guest speaker, Pastor Nathaniel Gracia, encouraged parents to put God first, to nurture their children, to be there for them and to get their (parents) priorities right. Using the theme word NOW he encouraged the graduates to: Never give up, Obey the rules, and Work!

Top male student, Romario James, did excellently in delivering the valedictory speech, giving glimpses of why he wants to be a journalist (or scientist) and why he is nicknamed RJR. He told the audience: "We will leave but we will never forget this school." He encouraged the students still attending the institution to "embrace the opportunities before you".
