SAVANNA-LA-MAR, WESTMORELAND:

The family of Oshane Thompson, 18, known also as Shane, is seeking the help of the public and his friends to assist them and the police in finding the teen, who has been missing for three weeks.

Thompson who graduated from the Little London high School last year was at his home at Barracks Road in Savanna-la-Mar, around 11 p.m. on May 28, when he reportedly received a phone call. He immediately left home on his bicycle saying that he was going downtown to look for a friend.

He did not say where exactly downtown he was going nor did he say who the friend was. He has not been seen since.

Bicycle returned

The matter was reported to the police and extensive searches in several communities in the downtown area of Savanna-la-Mar and on the sea have come up empty.

His bicycle was returned to his home along Barracks Road about a week after he went missing.

The family is now asking anyone with any information that can support the police in their investigations to pass it on.

Thompson is of a light brown complexion, about five feet five inches tall and of slim build. When he left home he was wearing a sky blue shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers.
