Woman arested for son's murder

A 43-year-old St Catherine woman is now in police custody after allegedly stabbing her son to death on Monday.
The police have not released the name of the woman who, they say, killed her 20-year-old son, Dwayne Hylton, at their home on Barford Drive, Ensom City, Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Reports are that at 1:30 Monday morning, Hylton and his mother were at home when a dispute developed.
During the quarrel, Hylton allegedly attacked his mother with a knife. She used another knife and stabbed him. He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The killing of Hylton brings to 67 the number of homicides for the St Catherine North Division since the start of the year.
