Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is a great friend of Jamaica, so after the formalities of the knighthood were completed at Buckingham Palace last week Friday, she had a pleasant conversation with Sir Patrick and Lady Allen. 'Something Extra' learnt exclusively that topics ranged from Her Majesty's first memories of the beauty of the island on her first trip here; queries about some of the work that our first couple would be doing; and the romantic atmosphere created following the unforgettable power outage at King's House at the state dinner on her last visit.
