CONSULTANT FORENSIC pathologist Dr Ere Seshaiah testified yesterday that there were eight fatal wounds on the body of 64-year-old Ambassador Peter King.

He said a great degree of force was used to inflict those injuries.

Sheldon Pusey, 26, is charged with King's murder. He has been on trial in the Home Circuit Court since last week Monday.

King's body was found at his home at 11A Waterloo Road, St Andrew, on March 20, 2006.

The Crown is alleging that King was murdered between March 19 and 20, 2006.

Dr Seshaiah said he performed the post-mortem on March 21, 2006. He said he saw four chop wounds to the neck and four stab wounds to the chest and all eight wounds were fatal.

He told the court that a knife or a pair of scissors could have caused the stab wounds while a machete or a chopper could have inflicted the chop wounds.
