Bringing a child into the world is a joyous and miraculous experience. Some parents are blessed with just one child, but Keshia and Reginald Hird received four precious girls all at once.

On May 5, Flair published the story of the Hirds and their quadruplets. After six years of marriage and several months of planning, the couple was pleased when doctors informed them of the pregnancy. However, six weeks later, they learnt that they would have not one, or two, but four babies.

Little celebrities

Since their birth, the babies have become little celebrities. After the Flair article, they received many good wishes and gifts ranging from diapers to a bank account set up for them. Also, The Gleaner continues to tell their story in an ongoing series called '4Ever Loved - Diary of the Hird quadruplets'.

The girls are now 11 months old. As indicated in the diary, they have become quite curious, playing with their mother's cellphone and the television remote. They recently started to walk by holding on to objects around the house to maintain their balance. From the diary, we also learnt that the girls love to play with toys, including rattles, building blocks, and a singalong animal zoo, blossoming into four larger bundles of joy!
