The Old Naval Hospital in Port Royal, east Kingston, was transformed into a carousing mini-metropolis on Friday, December 19, when Mad Circle Entertainment hosted its signature event, Osmosis, under the theme, 'City on the Bay'.

With the spectacular view of Kingston by night as its backdrop, the event delivered on its usual promise of SVB - super all-inclusive - vibes and beautiful people. DJ Kurt Riley got the fun started early with a slew of '90s dancehall favourites and some current hip-hop hits, while the patrons filed into the venue. Most made their way to 'Party Central', the main party area, to show off their interpretation of the latest dance moves.

The VIP guests went to their respective Skybox or Digicel Cabana City spaces to mingle in a more laid-back atmosphere. Jazzy T of Renaissance Disco and ZJ Liquid would also take the musical reins at different points in the night, and soon enough the whole party was rocking so hard there could have been an earthquake! Intermittently, patrons would refuel at the 'Tastes of the World' food court, which had some of Jamaica's trendiest eateries such as Cuddy'z, Monster's Pork Pit and newcomers Thai Gardens. The delectable cuisine went down with drinks from any of the five bars.

Among the guests were entertainer Shaggy; Shama Johnson, of Red Bull; Scott Dunn of Yush promotions; Dave DaCosta; Wayne Lawrence and Rene Wong of Diageo; fashion designers Dexter Pottinger and Camesha Powell; Miss Jamaica World 2006, Sara Lawrence; international dancehall artiste Tami Chynn; Digicel executives, Tahnida Nunes, Tracy Thelwell and Shelly-Ann Curran; the 'Energy God', Elephant Man; Amelia 'Milk' Sewell; Craig and David Harrisingh; singer Serani, of Daseca Studios, and Wisynco's Kimberly Lawson.
