WESTERN BUREAU:

The chapter of high-living that developers Rose Hall Developments promised at Shoppes at Rose Hall was exquisitely defined at their Christmas Eve cocktails event last Wednesday in Montego Bay.

Tiffany, Mikimoto, Cartier, Raymond Weil and Tag Heuer were just a few of the name brand watches on show at Casa de Oro, complemented by superb sterling silver jewellery at Veena Chandiram's Flights of Fantasy, and fabulous contemporary designer wear on display at Neha Kriplani's Déj Vu.

From the fragrances at Royal Shop to the Blue Mountain coffee at Café Blue, duty-free luxury lived up to the impressive souvenirs and speciality goods labelled at Tropicana, Bijoux and Jewel and Time.

Couple this with the bubbles of champagne, the crème de la crème of red and white wines, Shoppes at Rose Hall made a clear statement Wednesday evening, 'We are coming bigger and better in 2009.'

Ragni and Bob Trotta and the entire clan of developers for the exclusive Palmyra Resort and Spa, Dermott Connolly and Joe Hilton of Rose Hall Resort and Spa, Philipp Hofer, Iberostar Grande Rose Hall, Odette and Godfrey Dyer, Stanley Constantine, Andy and Michelle Daswani, Gail Graham, Aroon and Racquel Dadlani, Nikki and Vijay Samtani, were just a few of the people rubbing shoulders on Christmas Eve.
