Employees and associates of the Jamaica International Insurance Company (JIIC) certainly followed instructions to dress 'star worthy' for the company's evening of Glitz and Glamour JIIC Oscars at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel last week Saturday.

Dressed to impress, the 'stars' walked the red carpet and were greeted by flashing cameras and a videographer, who recorded brief interviews with them. Guests were directed to the cocktail area where they lymed and enjoyed finger food with a choice of sorrel or fruit punch.

After the brief cocktail reception, guests converged indoors for the awards ceremony and dinner. Staff members between five and seven years of service to the company were recognised. There was also the very humorous session of the 'people's choice' awards where recipients and co-workers poked fun at each other.

With staff members providing the bulk of entertainment by way of a fashion show and songs, singer Iceman closed the show to make way for the after party.

In preparation for the party, guests converged outside and used the opportunity to take photos, especially next to the Christmas tree. DJ Johnny Cool took charge of spinning the musical wheels to end a memorable evening.
