Dance the pounds away
published: Sunday | October 19, 2008

No need to watch your calories during The Gleaner-sponsored Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), work them off dancing at The Quad and The Asylum.

The Quad, the multi-level party spot, and its close neighbour Asylum are inviting you over to party after eating at one of the 35 KRW restaurants.

We realise the value that KRW brings to patrons and we thought that this would be a good platform to show them that we are out to please, said Sean Lyn, marketing manager of Nite Time Promotions, who works for clubs.

And in the spirit of KRW, they'll be offering you a complimentary cocktail, courtesy of the sponsor of that night. Patrons only have to present a stamped receipt from the KRW restaurant they visited and the cool cocktail is ready for the sipping.

With the central locations, The Asylum, 20 Trinidad Terrace, and The Quad at 69 Knutsford Boulevard , there is no need to venture far from the pulse of the city.

Not wanting to give any secrets away, Lyn said patrons should expect the same quality entertainment they always experience at the clubs.

Each will have its own unique flavour, depending on the night patrons come in, he added.

So the relaxed vibe of Christopher's, the retro glory of Voodoo and contemporary vibe of Oxygen and Asylum will all be at your feet.
