Have you ever gone shopping and thought that you are overdoing it? Take this quiz and find out if you are a serial shopper or just one of those everyday bargain hunters.

1. When you go home after a day of clothes shopping, what do you do?

a. Think what I can carry back, maybe those were too expensive.

b. Try on what I bought and show it to my parents.

c. Sleep, its tiring, searching for what I want.

d. Count my money and plan for my next shopping date.

2. Your shopping motto is:

a. What to buy, what to try.

b. Motto? I dont think I have one.

c. Bargain, bargain, bargain!

d. Shop till you drop!

3. When are you most likely to go shopping?

a. I have to get the vibe to shop, so whenever it hits me.

b. When I need to cheer myself up.

c. At the end of the month payday!

d. At the end of each week, or two weeks but I wish I could do it every day.

4. What are your thoughts on window shopping?

a. I try not to do that too much, it will only get me in trouble.

b. It helps me to choose what I like before I go shopping.

c. I have no time for it, but for deals I have to search the racks, not the windows.

d. Have you heard 50 Cents song? I dont do it.

5. Your favourite place to shop is?

a. In the mall, so many stores to choose from.

b. Dont necessarily have a favourite place.

c. Where the deals are, e.g., downtown, you just have to know the right places.

d. Those fancy boutiques where you know you are the only one with that item.

Mostly As:

Stop taking the guilt trip, when you were shopping you never thought about the cost. Many of us have had buyers remorse after a day of splurging on something we could not resist. You are more the victim than anything else. By the way, take the time to think how much you need the item before returning it, or else youll have returnees remorse, or feel worse if you see someone else with it.

Mostly Bs:

Shopping is comfort for you. You know when to buy and how to buy. You love to involve your friends and parents in your shopping experience. They hold you back from buying items that are not worth it. You splurge when you need to. Who doesnt, anyway?

Mostly Cs:

You have the qualities of a serial shopper but you are not one. Instead, you use the two Bs, bargain and budget. I think its time you splurge on that item you have been waiting on to go on sale. Just this once, take a chance shopping is like a game of monopoly.

Mostly Ds:

Its time they arrest you. You dont know when to stop shopping. Once you plan out your shopping date, no one can hold you back. You like knowing you are the only one wearing that shoe you just bought, but sometimes its OK to join the crowd and bargain. What are you doing going home with so many bags anyway?
