Patria-Kaye Aarons
published: Monday | October 13, 2008

Aarons

Twenty-six years old, 5' 6", public relations manager at Digicel.

Type of man you like/find attractive: I really don't have a 'type'; but confidence often grabs my attention.

What do you think is your best asset (physical or otherwise)? It's almost impossible to get me flustered and nothing is ever a crisis. Eternal optimist.

What do you look for in a man? A genuine smile. The ability to enjoy life and see the humour in everyday events is a rare gift not many have or allow themselves the pleasure of enjoying.

I also think it is very important for you to know yourself.

Know what you like, who you are, what you want out of life, what you stand for, and in whom you believe.

Biggest turn-off: Unkempt hands! I also strongly dislike ill-mannered people and complainers.

Ideal first date: Anything that involves food and lots of conversation and laughter.

How intimate would you get on a first date? Not far enough to shock my mother.

Last CD/book you bought (or read/listened to)? The Husband by Dean Koontz. (How funny is that?)

Philone Mantock

Mantock

I am a 27-year-old, 5'5" tall, fun-loving statistician.

Type of man you like/find attractive: Tall, toned, nice smile, well-dressed.

What do you think is your best asset (physical or otherwise)? My face

What do you look for in a man? One who is ambitious and motivated, has a sense of humour, is honest, knows how to take care of a lady, family-oriented, loves kids, no excess baggage.

Biggest turn off: Lies and cheating!

Ideal first date: Dinner and a club afterwards.

How intimate would you get on a first date? Probably a kiss if I'm attracted to the person.

Last CD/book you bought (or read/listened to): Dancehall mix CD

Nathelie Taylor

Twenty-eight years old, 5'6", and is a public relations manager.

Type of man you like/find attractive: Height, a soothing voice and a cute smile get me every time.

What do you think is your best asset (physical or otherwise)? Hmmm, physically, I've been told my legs and voice. Otherwise, I'd say it's my ability to make others feel comfortable.

What do you look for in a man? There are a few fundamentals, like being selfless, respectful, sincere and honest - although, admittedly, honesty sometimes hurts. He should be able to converse well and definitely be witty and not afraid to indulge in silliness now and again - I love someone with whom I can just let go and be me, with whom I can have uninhibited fun and share oodles of laughter.

Biggest turn-off: Men who use 'lines'. Totally annoying! And smokers.

Ideal first date: One that makes me feel like there was never anyone else and never will be! Something sweet, yet fun and interactive. For instance, creating a romantic dinner together and dining al fresco with the backdrop of a magnificent landscape - topped off by watching cartoons - is a cool way to break those first-date jitters, while still showing interest and getting to know each other.

How intimate would you get on a first date? I still hold a few 'traditional' values where intimacy is concerned. But, who knows what may transpire when a good, strong connection is formed over great conversation and a couple glasses of wine?!

Last CD/book you bought (or read/listened to)? Last book read was Madam Secretary: A Memoir by Madeleine Albright.
