Dinner might have been a disappointment, but guests who turned out feasted their eyes on the stars of Beijing in more regal attire than tights and tank tops. Also, the Pineapple Ball was awash with highlights and the hot-stepping fashionistas left many memorable moments.

Belle of the ball, indeed! Violet Lewis had tongues wagging and cameras flashing at the Jamaica Committee Pineapple Ball at the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall on Saturday night.
