St George's take on lowly Ardenne

ST GEORGE'S will look to preserve their unbeaten run when they travel to face struggling Ardenne in Group E of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup at Ardenne High today.
The Light Blues have looked comfortable coming out the gates, scoring 10 goals in two games, but had a bit of a stutter against Camperdown as they had to come from behind twice before securing a victory at home.
Ardenne, on the other hand, got off to good start, pegging back Camperdown but have lost their last two games.
In the group's other game, Excelsior, who are second to St George's on goal difference, will look to keep pace when they travel to Dunoon.
In yesterday's action, Tivoli took over leadership of Group A when they came from behind to tag Charlie Smith 4-2.
Misfortune
It was the west Kingston team which took the lead in the sixth minute through Andre Aiken. However, Tivoli had a bit of misfortune five minutes later when defender Seymour Briscoe found the back of his own net.
Charlie Smith then capitalised through Omar Pryce, who made the best of a poorly attempted clearance, to put the home team ahead in the 34th minute. Following an extended half-time break due to security concerns raised by the Tivoli goalkeeper, the visitors equalised through Necas Collins in the 63rd minute.
Substitute Lamar Reynolds rose high to head Tivoli into the lead in the 81st minute, before Andre Fearon finished off the game eight minutes later. Charlie Smith's Sheldon Watkins had previously been given his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card.
"It was a very tough game today. I had seen them previously and they are a good team, so this was a good win for us," said Tivoli coach Dave Clarke. "We put a lot more heart into this game than the last one and that showed up on the scoresheet."
Learning process
Charlie Smith assistant coach Carol Buttler described his team's loss as learning process.
"They are one of the teams that will be contenders this season so losing to them was a learning experience," Buttler said.
"However, despite this loss we are still looking to top the group and at least make the Walker Cup," he said.
