The Editor, Sir:

Was the opening paragraph of your editorial of yesterday, September 10, really necessary to make your point?

I like to pun and I like wit, but in this instance your attempt was no less flaccid than what you have imputed in the minister's explanation.

Helpful editorial

Having said that, I found the editorial helpful and cannot understand why such things should be problematic, when so much of it is free.
