The stylish feather of hair in the face, the bang, is back with a .... OK, maybe I'm running out of words, but it's true. Bangs are in, the biggest stars are wearing their hair in their faces and why should anyone else be an exception?

"People are cutting them," said Nicole Walsh of Vision and Precision Hair Salon in Kingston. However, she said, during these summer days most bangs or fringes as they are also called don't come out to play, but at night they come out to roam.

If you don't want to commit to the rigid, thick bang, a side-swept one can also work.

We selected some pictures of women at recent events who were showcasing straight, wispy, choppy and side-swept bangs.
