Beauties invade Mystic Mountain
published: Sunday | August 10, 2008

Ready to go bobsledding is Jade Grant, Miss Guardian Fence Systems Ltd.

Jamaica's newest tourist attraction, Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios, provided the finalists in this year's Miss Jamaica World pageant, with much thrill and excitement.

The young women visited the eco-tourist attraction on July 29. The finalists took the Rainforest Sky Lift Explorer which carried them to the top of the mountain, giving them a breathtaking view of the 100 acres of lush tropical hillsides as well as the Ocho Rios coastline.

At the top of the mountain the girls visited the Educational Pavilion, which boasts information on the history of the Jamaican people, Jamaica's flora and fauna, maritime history and a rich display of Jamaica's sporting excellence, including bobsledding.

The girls soon had their taste of the Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica track and some put aside their fears while others satisfied their adrenaline crave on the Zipline canopy tour.
