Developer Mark Chin is under-taking a $300-million residential complex at the top end of Mountain View in St Andrew, which realtor Valerie Levy and Associates will take to the market by next February.

Chin, through his company CMM Estate Holdings Limited, is developing 17 two- and three-bedroom apartments, to be called Muirfield Apartments, on 0.84 acres at 1 Beverley Vale Close.

Realtor Anya Levy said the units are priced at $14 million and $18 million.

"The land is not crowded at all; there is a lot of parking and a lot of green area," said Levy of the Beverley Vale Close project. "What they (the developers) have done is raised the bar on what is expected on an apartment. They are giving more than what the average complex is offering."

Muirfield will feature a children's play area, guardhouse, electronic gate and intercom system, pool and a communal gym. The development is the first for CMM Estate Holdings, but not for Chin, its director, who has been building houses for three years. His projects include Pinehurst in Montego Bay and Fernbrook in St Andrew.
