PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):
Trinidad & Tobago guaranteed themselves a spot in the semi-final of the inaugural Caribbean Football Union Girls Invitational Champion-ship, with a solid whipping of Anguilla on Sunday.
Striker Jo-Marie Lewis registered a first-half hat-trick as the hosts thrashed the Anguillans 6-0 in Group A at the Marvin Lee Stadium.
With the win, their second in as many matches, T&T improved to a maximum six points and also claimed a berth in the last four of the competition on Thursday.
The Bahamas, beaten by T&T 1-3 in its opener, rebounded to slip past the Dominican Republic 1-0 in the first match, while Haiti flogged Aruba 3-1 in the third match Sunday. Haiti's win set up a group B decider with Jamaica.
