Prayers for Olint
published: Sunday | July 20, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

The recent news on Olint has come with mixed responses. On one hand, it has removed some of the negative speculation about the integrity of Olint. It is apparent that they do not lack the funds to disburse gains to their club members, but are hampered by the proper mechanisms to do so.

On the other hand, it does raise questions as to whether there is a collaborative determination to frustrate the industry both locally and overseas. The large percentage of investors who are from the church community have intensified their prayers with the hope that good will come out of this crisis. It is the moral integrity which must triumph over financial self-interests. Throughout the Church, we continue to express confidence in the integrity of Mr David Smith and in his often-stated purpose to provide economic empowerment for the broad masses of the people.

I am, etc.,

BISHOP C.B.

PETER MORGAN

Kingston City Church

Episcopal Office
