Sao Paulo, Brazil:
The brand's regional office in Latin America and the Caribbean has announced that Jaguar sales in the islands went up 62.5 per cent from January to June 2008, compared to the same period last year. The newly launched Jaguar XF was the best-selling model in the first quarter of 2008.
Throughout the region, Jaguar has increased 31.5 per cent so far this year. "Our vehicles are earmarked for demanding customers, who look for a pleasurable drive with comfort and style. The brand works hard in new projects to seduce more customers and include new publics to Jaguar," said Jaguar director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Franco Fodor.
Jaguar sales increase has been driven by the Caribbean - Chile, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama and Uruguay markets. "This growth is directly related to the seduction power of our products, and it also reflects the exciting moment of the Latin American and the Caribbean economy," affirmed Franco Fodor.
Jaguar Latin America and the Caribbean Office is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and comprises seven countries and Caribbean islands. The brand is one of the most iconic automotive luxuries in the world, and offers its customers four different models: XK, XJ, S-Type and X-Type, as well as other special editions.
