Dance troupe woos audience
published: Monday | July 14, 2008

Pulsating, energetic, rhythmic, are a few of the words that could be used to describe the Spectular Dance Troupe's first annual summer show held at the Courtleigh Auditorium, New Kingston, Friday night. Dubbed 'The Heat', the vibrant group of 30 girls did not hesitate to 'shake what their mama gave them', much to the delight of the packed venue.

Choreographed by Samantha Forbes and Patrick Green, the troupe began with a 'Showdown', and the enthusiasm continued throughout the evening.

Various genres

Dancing across various genres, the production featured songs like Do It by J.Lo, I Need An Angel from Ruben Studdard, and Raging Bull by Mr Vegas featuring Overmars, the troupe certainly made a spectular debut.

Without a doubt, the dancers enjoyed themselves as much as the audience, showing us their dynamic way of working for charity.
