It was a regular night at Carib 5 in Cross Roads on Wednesday; except, of course, for the SUV parked in the lobby!

The Daihatsu Terios was at the centre of attention at Palace Amusement and Toyota's Take the Wheel in a Stylish New SUV summer promotion. It was one hot affair, with eye-catching fashion, great movie openings, and free ticket giveaways to some of the summer's hottest parties.

Guests enjoyed cocktail mixes as they bounced to dance music, as well as a few themes from well-known films. But the highlight of the event, apart from the car, was the summer fashion by Elan for Women.

Catwalk

Six leggy beauties dropped jaws and exuded 'aahs' as they turned the lobby into a catwalk. It wasn't long before those who weren't specially invited for the launch joined in, including a couple who showed off their sense of style for the photographers to go paparazzi on them.

From July 9 to October 31, all patrons, 18 years and over, who purchase a movie ticket at any Palace Amusement cinema (Carib 5, Palace Cineplex, Odeon Cineplex, Palace Multiplex), will be eligible to enter. The grand-prize drawing is on November 7.

But besides all the photos, fashion and hoopla, after the cosy little SUV was unveiled, it was time for patrons to do what the place was built for; watch movies.
