Try peas and beans

Dear Ms Brown,

I enjoyed your article and believe that it will help many people who are financially strapped or would just like to change their menus for various reasons.

For those who may experience 'gas', I have found it helpful to cook with ginger. The dried ginger powder, or even the green ginger, can be used.

There is a good flavour to ginger and it can be used instead of pepper. It also has some health benefits, in relation to stomach problems and heart burn.

You may do some research on the above. It could be very helpful.

Thanks for your article.

- Rupert Preddie.
