Helping mail delivery
published: Friday | June 27, 2008

THE EDITOR, Sir:

For a long time, mailing address on customers' bills from the Jamaica Public Service Company have been difficult to read at the 'window' of the envelope, the postal clerk having to tear a portion of the envelopes to get a clear view of the full address on the bills.

I believe the person(s) preparing the bills for postage should start the address lower down so that the full address can be seen within the 'window' space and, by doing so, less time will be wasted in the delivery process.

I do hope this information will prompt the relevant authority to make the necessary adjustments and avoid delays in sorting and mail delivery.

I am, etc.,

J.A. BAILEY

Dalvey PO

St. Thomas
