Well done, PM!
Well done, Golding! It takes great strength to take such a stance in the international community. Continue to stand up for what you believe. You may lose popularity with some, but you will go down in history as being different.
Although homosexuality should be tolerated, it is an aberration and should not be accepted as the norm. There will never be any gay marriages in Jamaica. Let gays continue to be confined to the privacy of their homes. It is their right.

School crime
There should be more focus on crime in schools and in the community. Teachers must be protected as they are the nation's educators. You cannot be giving free education and teachers are going to jail for disciplining a child in school. That will affect the spirit of the teachers, making them reluctant to teach. Not everyone needs free education; it should only be given to the needy.

Security cameras
I like this project to build back Spanish Town. Well, my take on the fear- of-crime-thing is that it is easy to fix. All the Government needs to do is put up cameras to monitor movement on the streets, with every car, person, dogs, etc, getting caught on security tape that is monitored by police or a security agency.
Do like the English. Cameras run that place; almost every block has one. So, this park in Spanish Town is not too big. Twenty cameras should do it.

Positive Jamaica
I have just started to go back to Jamaica after 30 years spent in the United Kingdom. The last two years have been an eye-opener in terms of my regular trips to Jamaica.
The first thing I noticed was the improvement of the island. I was wondering why it is that we don't see on a regular basis the improvement in Jamaica being publicised more, instead of its negativity. I'm sure if the media and the newspapers did that, you would be helping people to have more confidence in Jamaica.
