Saint International will present the internationally recognised Style Week Jamaica (SWJ) 2008 in Kingston, Jamaica, Friday, May 23 - Sunday May 25.
This year's staging is creating global excitement as international brands, designers, models, celebrities and media are signing up to experience the inimitable affair.
SWJ 2k8 will create history by presenting the highest number of high-profile international designers from the major fashion capitals Paris, London, New York and Amsterdam. These include B. Michael, Bas Koster, Ed Hardy, Favvette and Julia Clancy among others.
Saint International will be bringing home their top models to grace the stage and be the easels for the display of the fashion glitz and glamour. Georgianna Robertson's homecoming will be an impressive one considering the phenomenal career she has had.
Saint International superstars Sasha, Canise, Jotasha, Sosheba, Jermain, Sigail, Tafari, Kevin and Venecia are, indeed, honoured to share the same stage.
Unique timing
The event's unique timing captures holidays in North America and Europe, memorial day weekend and banking holidays, respectively. It allows for an inclusive and exciting schedule of events to unfold, which has credible potential as a strong tourism branding product.
Principal sponsors, Digicel, Gillette, Mitsubishi, Air Jamaica, Island Outpost, Strawberry Hill, The Caves, Heineken, Old Spice, Ferrero Rocher, Skyy Vodka and TVJ are among the most powerful lifestyle brands that have rallied their support for the event.
The blockbuster Fashionblock is among the biggest and most glamorous fashion events in the Caribbean.
The four-day extravaganza, Style Week Jamaica will also feature multiple after parties, VIP cocktail receptions, seminars, supermodels and glamorous runway shows to appeal to the diehard fashionistas from around the world.
