Molynes United 'B' are this year's Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) Western Union Divisional 'B' champions, following an exciting 24-22 victory over Jetsetters 'B' on Saturday at the Leila Robinson Courts.

Meanwhile, Ocho Rios Magics claimed the third place trophy by defeating Maverly 39-37.

"I am very elated for this victory because my team played exceptionally well," said Roy Pryce, coach of Molynes United.

"Our execution was excellent throughout because the girls played a very disciplined game and they also followed my instructions," Pryce said.

C. Lloyd Walker, coach of Jetsetters said: "We made some technical errors during the game because we weren't passing the ball the way we should have been doing and this was the reason for our defeat.

"My team also drifted away from our game plan because they were not playing our usual style of netball which is our running game," Walker explained.

Camille Moulton the led the way for Molynes United with 22 goals from 27 attempts and received support from Anna-Kay Ellis, two goals from five tries.

Runners-up

Winette Henry's 15 goals from 20 tries and Carla Whyte's four goals from five were the leading scorers for Jetsetters.

Molynes United received $65,000 and the winning trophy for their efforts while Jetsetters collected $45,000 for being the runners-up. Third place Ocho Rios Magics collected $30,000 for their efforts.

Nickeisha Lewis of Molynes United was voted the Most Valuable Player of the finals. GC Foster College won the most disciplined team award for the second consecutive year.
