Molynes B, Jetsetters B in final showdown
published: Saturday | May 17, 2008

Robert Bailey, Freelance Writer

MOLYNES UNITED 'B' and Jetsetters 'B' will contest today's final of the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA)/Western Union Division 'B' competition at the Leila Robinson Courts starting at 4:45 p.m.

Meanwhile, Ocho Rios Magics and Maverley will meet in the curtain-raiser for third place at 3:30 p.m.

"The women are confident but not overconfident because we know that Jetsetters are a well-coached team. We are expecting a tough game from them," said Roy Pryce, coach of Molynes United 'B'.

"They are not only a good shooting team but also an excellent running team because they can run you into the ground. We have put a system in place to counter this.

"Things have going well for us this season because from the start of the competition our aim was to reach the final. We have achieved this and we are hoping to take it one step further now."

Molynes United 'B' will place their hopes in the hands of inspirational goalshooter Camille Moulton, goal defence Tracy-Ann Samuels and centre Tamara Cherrington.

C. Lloyd Walker, coach of Jetsetters 'B', said: "We are coming to play good attacking netball. I don't like to make predictions on any games because the ball is round and the better team on the day is going to win."

Walker said his team's preparations had been hampered by CXC exams.

"We are an attacking team and will be coming to play our usual style against them," he said.
