The Editor, Sir:
Re Det C. Lyn-Sue: I was sad to see what had finally happened to this officer who decided to give up wrong and do right.
It is sad to see the unnecessary punishment this officer is going through. The important question is: do we want to see real changes in the JCF? This action will only force police personnel who want to denounce wrong to continue.
I want to congratulate the few pastors, such as Bishop Herro. Blair, who want to see this officer given pardon. Why are the other Christian voices silent in a time when they should not be. This officer should not spend a day in prison because he has already lost his entire life for coming clean.
best wishes
As an ex-cop, I did one wrong which I regret to this day. It was my first week or so on the job and I was forced to make an arrest by my superiors. I know what this officer has been through.
I wish him all the best, and I hope that the GG gives him a pardon. I must again thank Bishop Blair who was demonstrating that he is really a man of God.
I am, etc.,
