Viagra handouts
Older residents in a Chilean town are being given free Viagra pills.
Mayor Gonzalo Navarette Munoz says he wants to improve the quality of life of men aged 60 or over in the Santiago suburb of Lo Prado.
He said he was inspired by complaints from older patients about their poor sex lives while working as a doctor.
He said: "This is about giving our elderly population a better quality of life."
Navarette says that within the next few days, physicians will start dispensing the drug at their surgeries and his office will pick up the bill.
He intends to hand out Viagra four times a month to every man who asks for it and passes a medical.
Mistaken identity
A United States woman was arrested after she mistook her boyfriend for a porn star and chased him with a knife.
The male victim, who hasn't been named, claims he and his girlfriend were watching an X-rated movie together at their home.
But Amanda Moya, 20, suddenly decided he was an actor in the film and went for him with a knife.
He told an emergency services operator: "She almost shanked me and everything. She put the knife right under my throat."
Wedding brawl
A United States couple cele-brated their wedding by brawling with one another before attacking members of another reception.
David W. Wielechowski, 32, and Christa Vattimo, 25, reportedly started fighting and two guests of another wedding heard the bride's screams and rushed over to help her.
But when they restrained Wiele-chowski, his bride began attacking her rescuers.
The fight travelled from a hallway to an elevator then into the hotel lobby where the couple threw metal plant pots into an elevator at the men who tried to break up the fight.
Naked invite
Thirteen United States high schoolboys have been disciplined for baring their bottoms to ask a girl to the prom.
The varsity lacrosse players at Huron High School displayed the question: 'Will You Go To The Prom With Me? Yes or No?' on their backsides, which they revealed during a junior varsity game last week.
School officials suspended the 13 players for an undetermined number of games and ordered them to perform 20 hours of community service. The players were also suspended from school for one day.
Blind drunk driver
Estonian police officers were left shocked after discovering a drunk driver they pulled over was also blind.
Traffic police in Tartu said Kristjan Gradolf - who is completely blind - was being given directions by his friend in the passenger seat and breath test revealed he was two and a half times over the legal drink-drive limit.
Both men face a £700 fine and Gradolf is also facing a jail sentence on charges of endangering public safety.
But Gradolf, 20, said: "Despite the fact that I am blind, driving is something I enjoy, and I am in fact very good at it."
