Recycling
published: Saturday | April 26, 2008

Jamaica needs a business called recycling, then you would not have that problem when flood hits the country (Ocho Rios), it would bring employment and new products.

Wasting money

The JLP in my view still isn't aware that it was the one who was given the mantle to head this, our nation Jamaica. Mr Shaw, even in his budget speech still speaks as if he is on the campaign trail. What is the point of wasting taxpayers' money with another enquiry?

Wasn't Finsac established to bail out delinquents. I do beg you Mr. Prime Minister let us get back to making life better for the thousands of Jamaicans who wake up as early as 4 a.m. to be a part of the 'sardine tins' to get to their minimum wage jobs in the mornings.

Let us, not waste anymore of our hard working dollars on stupidities such as another pointless enquiry.

Nurses' Day

Recognising the undue strain doctors and nurses are undergoing today in Jamaica mainly on account of the escalation of violence, we ought to demonstrate in some signal manner that we are aware of, and that we appreciate their intense devotion to duty and service.

I am , therefore, proposing to Government to declare officially 'Nurses' Day', a day on which the nation will recognise our doctors and nurses. It is full time that Mary Seacole, be officially recognised as the 'Patroness of Jamaican nurses'.

I hope that the honourable minister of health will give this proposal the attention it most assuredly deserves.

Seeking father

I am looking for daughter's father, his name is Rowan Morrison.d.o.b 1.7.79. I met him in Coventry, England in April 2002, after a Robbie Dread sent him down to me from Liverpool, England. I think he got deported soon after. I would be grateful if someone could contact me if they know him or if you are reading this. Thanks.
