Cash Plus lesson
published: Wednesday | April 16, 2008

The Editor, Sir:

I must apologise to Mr Carlos Hill for the treatment that he is currently receiving from some of us Jamaicans. I did not invest my money in Cash Plus, however, some of my friends did. The lesson we have learnt is that the banks can do much better with the interest return on our money after they use our money when it is deposited. Isn't it invested?

While I sympathise with those who are really being affected by this witchhunt, the man that just invested his money at the last stage may or may not be repaid on his investment. Others have seen and learnt the benefits, the pitfalls and risk that come along with investments. After all, what is life without a little risk?

I am, etc.,
