Seven claimed

Seven horses were claimed at Caymanas Park on Saturday, four of them coming in the closing 1200-metre race for the Roderick 'Pilot' Francis Memorial Trophy.

The runaway winner and 8-5 favourite MOST WANTED was taken from trainer Lawrence Freemantle for $170,000 by trainer Alden Francis for himself.

RED I, who finished third, was picked up for $170,000 by trainer Leroy Fearon on behalf of Clifton Thomas, UNQUESTIONABLE for $170,000 by trainer Robert Darby Sr on behalf of Kary Neale and KING AL also for $170,000 by trainer Antonio Baker for Ian Aitcheson.

The three remaining claims came in the fourth race won by the 3-5 favourite CHOSEN ONE.

One of three winners for champion jockey Omar Walker, the rejuvenated seven-year-old gelding was taken from Freemantle for $380,000 by trainer Steadman Curtis on behalf of Brazilonia.

The runner-up NUMERO UNO was claimed for $340,000 by trainer Randolph Scott for Clarence Green, while the third horse, TASSY'S WHIP, was picked up for $380,000 by trainer Richie Todd on behalf of Connecticut.
