Reassuring customers that it is not the sort of organisation that takes its customers for granted, the National Commercial Bank hosted a luncheon for staff of various government organisations at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort last Friday.
"Sometimes in life there are some relationships that are so deeply embedded we take them for granted," said deputy group managing director of the National Commercial Bank (NCB), Dennis Cohen. He assured those present that his company is not prone to making that mistake.
Important strength
He also highlighted another important strength of the organisation, which is that its staff is more than adequately trained to meet customers' needs.
A savoury meal was lavished on guests, accompanied by the pleasant sounds of sultry music in the background. Making the event even more enjoyable was Shawn, who performed a number of enjoyable hits.
The lunch hour cemented existing relationships, while forging new ones as well.
Out to lunch were: Major Milverton Munroe of the National Solid Waste Management Authority, branch manager of the National Commercial Bank in St James, Robert Brooks, Lorna Givons and Dahlia Hessing from the Ministry of Labour; western regional manager of NCB, Norman Reid; Kayon Fullerton, St James parish manager of the National Works Agency, Phillip Clarke, and Norma Taylor of the Jamaica Tourist Board, among others.
