Roshane attends the Moneague Community College where she is pursuing pre- university arts studies, history, literature and economics.

She wants to become a lawyer.

Lauri-Ann Ainsworth

Lauri Ann is pursuing an MBA at the University of Leicister and she is also a presenter at Supreme Ventures.

"I entered MJU 2008 to advance my self-confidence and poise; ultimately, if I were to win, it would be a great opportunity and honour to represent my country on the international stage."

Antoinette Ming

Studying mass communication at the Northern Caribbean University, Antoinette is also an avid art lover. Citing Andy Jefferson as her favourite artist, Miss Ming says, "His piece titled Regeneration is my absolute favourite. Its themes of metamorphosis and change are directly applicable to us all."

Kadia Campbell

Kadia is currently studying for her diploma at the Jamaican Institute of Management, she is also a manager of a department store and has ambitions of becoming an entrepreneur.

"I want to impress on the Jamaican woman the importance of being a 'go-getter'. When everyone else says it's impossible, do it and prove them wrong."

"I think itís important to own ambitions and mine is to take home the title MJU 2008, serve my country then return home to open my own mar-keting company says 21-year-old future marketing executive Jeseka Williams. She is currently pursuing a BA in business administration at the University of Technology.

Latoya Samuels

Latoya works as an assistant in a dental office. She was a finalist in the 2006 Pulse Caribbean Model Search Television Series, along with current MJU contestant Nicole Hopkins.

"This pageant is all about development of self. It's an open call for beauties to raise the bar in areas of assertiveness and confidence."
