Meadhaven look to extend lead

Meadhaven United will be seeking to extend their nine-point lead in the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/-Victoria Mutual Super League when they entertain Cavalier at Michigan Oval today, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Meadhaven United lead the points standings on 39, followed by second-place Bull Bay (31), who will host third place Jamaica Defence Force (28) at Bull Pen.

In other matches, Maver-ley/Hughenden (15) will host Mountain View United (10), Rockfort (1) will travel to Duhaney Park (18) and Santos (17) will play Police National (16) at Bell Chung Oval . Constant Spring will rest this week.

Close the gap

In the Major League competition, leaders Real Mona (40) will be the rest team. Second place Liguanea (32) will be looking to close the gap on the leaders when they travel to Seaview Gardens (17), while third place Olympic Gardens (20) will challenge Barbican (15) at Cling Cling Oval.

In other matches University of Technology (UTech) (10) will face Swallowfeild (17), Cooreville Gardens (12) will host Rae Town (19) and Central Kingston (12) will oppose Brown's Town at Winchester Park.

Port Royal (26) continue to lead the Syd Bartlett league and will play second place Meadforest (18)at Queensborough.

Third place Molynes United (18) will meet Island Special Consta-bulary Force (14) at Kingston Technical field. Maxfield Park (15) will play Shortwood United (15) at Breezy Castle and Pembroke Hall (12) will entertain New Kingston (7) at Pembroke Hall High School.

Home teams are named first and all matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
